I have had cats most of my life, and am very accustomed to playing with cats, feeding schedules, litter cleanup, brushing, and nail clipping. I am very patient with a cat’s personality as I have rescued a mama cat and her kittens, and understand it can take some time for a kitty to get comfortable with new people or environment.

We've had quite a few Rover sitters over the years, and Vanessa is the best by far. We'd booked her before, but this was our first extended 7-night stay. In the past, we've had sitters who didn't care for our dogs the way we would or did things that made us lose confidence in leaving them. Vanessa completely exceeded every expectation. She took incredible care of our pups, and when our epileptic dog, Leena, had a seizure, she stayed calm, communicated with me every step of the way, and never left her side—even canceling her own plans to make sure Leena was okay and felt safe. Throughout the week she also handled a tick on Leena, three lightning storms (our dogs are absolutely terrified of thunder), and even a delayed dog food delivery without missing a beat. Time and again she went above and beyond in ways we never expected. Her attentiveness, kindness, and thoughtfulness truly saved our vacation. For the first time, I felt like someone cared for our dogs as if they were her own. I cannot recommend Vanessa highly enough, and we'll absolutely be booking with her again.
Vanessa is wonderful! She took great care of my fur baby, and made me feel comfortable being away knowing he was in good hands. I got pictures and updates throughout her time with my dog. I appreciated how perfectly she stayed on time for my dog's schedule. I will definitely be requesting her again.
Vanessa did great looking after our pack of animals! She was very flexible and helpful. We have a cat, 2 large adult dogs and a house training puppy, with no fenced yard! She handled them all wonderfully!

Vanessa was wonderful! She helped us out on very short notice and was incredibly responsive throughout the stay. She sent plenty of pictures and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. She also made sure my epileptic pup got her medication on time, which meant a lot to us. Our dogs were happy, well cared for, and relaxed when we got home, and the house was spotless. We would absolutely book with her again!
Vanessa has taken great care of cats, dogs, and even guinea pigs and hamsters for as long as I have known her. She not only takes care of their basic needs, but also plays with them and makes a genuine connection. The fur babies she has taken care of absolutely love her and get excited when she comes around.

Schedule
I am a full time student at ISU. I have a very flexible schedule as I have at most two classes on two days of the week, one class two days of the week, and no classes the rest of the time.
