Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of Rottweilers, pitbull mixes, yorkies, malteses, dachshunds, Pomeranians, shih tzus, rescues, purebreds, finniky eaters. I’m a lifelong dog owner, so being aware of their whereabouts at all times is 2nd nature for me. They will receive all the cuddles and playtime with my mini dachshund Happï. We love company and can’t wait to meet and host new friends!

Information Vanessa H. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs. My dog Happï chokes all the time from water or eating too fast, so we are very familiar with providing dog CPR in this household. I can also prepare special meals if needed, and I feel comfortable giving both injectable and oral medications.
A typical day
I start my day between 6-8am and can take the dogs out for a quick walk. We watch a lot of movies and lounge around perfect for indoor play all day! Given the weather and they’re allowed, I also like to take the dogs on errands with me as much as possible. Our favorite park is Amory Park which I’ll let the dogs play off leash with the other dogs if I can trust them.

Availability
I currently work Mon-Thursday but have the weekends open and short days on Tuesdays for pet caring and walks. I have a playful miniature dachshund of my own who can help entertain any puppers. Walks at 7am before work each morning can be arranged for maximum sleep time during the day. I’ll get home at 5pm and go for another walk for the night.
