Pet care experience
My husband and I both grew up with dogs, and we adopted Troy when he was 7 months old in 2011. Troy is trained, very friendly with dogs of all sizes and ages, and he loves children. I used to board with Dog Vacay (see pictures); currently, I do walks and home visits. I have experience giving medication and applying eye drops.

We are so happy we found Vanessa to take care of our dog Ranger. He was seemed to get along nicely with her dog Troy. In fact, I think he misses his new buddy! I know he loved the daily walks & running in the yard. We definitely recommend Vanessa and will request her in the future!

From the moment I met Vanessa, Chris and her dog Troy, I knew this was going to be a great fit! Of course, my dog Jack had the last word and if he could talk, I think he would want to go back every day! On his second day there (a week after his first visit) we pulled up to the home and he couldn't wait to get out of the car and start his great play day! It's awesome when you meet that perfect fit and I think we have ! Taking him there, I have a sense of trust and joy that he'll be loved and well taken care of just like he would if he were home with me !!
We had to make arrangements for our pups on due to a family emergency. Vanessa was able to fit us in despite the short notice. Our pups seemed to enjoy themselves and were bright and happy when we picked them up.

At home, I make sure Troy is always clean, his food bowls are clean, his pillow is not bunched up, he has/ate his meals, he went "to the bathroom", he has/drinks water (specially during hot days). I am very mindful during walks, and pay attention to what he sniffs, where he walks, and on my surroundings. I will do the same for you pet.

I would like to know if your pet has preferences or particular behavior I should be aware to be prepared and tailor my care. For example, I would like to know if your dog likes chasing birds on walks, or is protected of his food, or have a treat every time he eats he food, etc.
A typical day
I got a dog training book as a present once and I love training my dog. I would be happy to try to incorporate the tricks I learned on the book with your baby if you would like me to.

Availability
I have a very flexible schedule. At home visits I will make sure you pet have fun and have everything he/she needs, (is fed, loved and exercised). During walks, your pet will have plenty time to sniff around and to exercise. I will also make sure to report after every visit and send a plethora of pictures.
