I spent 20 years honing my skills in animal behavior and medical care for pets and exotics. I have a passion for treating pets as if they are my own. Military life moved me around the country, so establishing reliability to help my neighbors and friends was easy. Skills include insulin injections, fluid administration, oral medications administrations and bathing/nail trims.

You simply won't find a better dog sitter than Vanessa. My dog is old and cranky and has some special needs, but he took to Vanessa immediately and I was able to go away without fretting about his well-being. Vanessa's experience as a vet nurse is an added bonus. She's seen it all and knows everything about cats and dogs. Don't be surprised if you get some free medical advice! Oh, and the yard is amazing!
Vanessa is someone I trust implicitly with my pets. She has vast experience and is a trained professional, with years working in the veterinary field. I will admit to being picky about who I allow to watch my pets, but while I was moving she took my cat and took care of her for a few weeks so I could handle my move. I’ve also seen her take care of dogs, snakes, hamsters, sugar gliders, and (of course) cats. She is friendly and caring and loves animals and works to ensure they are safe, comfortable and happy.
Vanessa is an extremely reliable and thoughtful pet caregiver. Every time my dog (75 pound gentle giant) has spent time with her and her doggies, he always comes back so happy and exhausted (in a good way!). She plays with him and has even offered to cut his nails since I told her I have such a hard time doing it by myself. She has over 15 years experience in veterinary care so I trust her with my best friend. Highly recommend!

A typical day
I tailor activities to your pets needs. If you pet is high energy, I will provide a vigorous work out. If your dog is a couch potato, I’ll be a potato with it. Cats will get mental stimulation from toys. I have a lovely neighborhood that will be a new place to explore for those that look for adventure.
