Pet care experience
As a kid all I wanted was a dog, but moving overseas and living in military housing wouldn’t let me be great. Things changed for me by age 11 upon returning to the States and I’ve been a dog owner ever since. I am a self-employed attorney, and live in a home with a fenced in backyard with my 8 year old son and our 11 year old (neutered) mini schnauzer, Hippo.

Vanessa was very attentive to my dog’s dietary needs. She sent daily updates and pictures so I always knew what he was up to. She was accommodating to my schedule and communicated with me clearly throughout the entire process. Will definitely book with her again!
Very good and easy to work with
Had to go on a last minute trip and Vanessa was able to take in my nine month old lab Lilly for a week. Was not sure how Lilly would do being a recent rescue. Vanessa kept me updated with pictures and a daily brief of her day. Would highly recommend her to all my friends. Thank you.
Vanessa was so easy to work with and setup drop off and pick up times. Our dog had a great time playing with their dog and son and we loved seeing photos every day!

My home is a 3 bedroom in a neighborhood loop with a good sized fenced in backyard. Our dog Hippo is older (11) but still energetic and enjoys company. He has lived with other dogs and we like to get out at the dog park @ Hugh Macrae right next to our neighborhood. Your pup will get loads of love and attention from me, Hippo and my 6 year old son, and enjoy as many potty breaks as needed.

Has the dog ever had any episodes of aggression towards other dogs or children? What are his or her favorite toys? Does the dog have separation anxiety, storm anxiety, or nervous chewing? For long boarding, I would like to know a preferred vet in case of illness or emergency.
A typical day
Activities will depend on the service requested, and the owners preferences. I am happy to walk your baby near your home where comfortable. Boarded pets have access to my backyard, and if okay with their owners may take neighborhood walks in my neighborhood, nearby Hugh McRae park or even enjoy a trip to socialize at the dog park!

I work an adjusted schedule based on my son’s school day. I’m generally in the office downtown until 2:00 then work from home. I have flexible availability, as I’m the boss!
