I am home throughout the day, every day, so your pet will rarely be alone for long. I have worked as a licensed veterinary technician for over 15 years and still could not imagine life without my cats and dogs. I run a foster care/ rescue home for cats from my home, and work with local spay and neutering programs in our community. I have two dogs and two cats of my own and the cats are very dog savvy with all visitors. They know from the minute the dog walks through the door if they can be trusted, LOL. My daughters are 3, 6, and 18 years old and are understanding and respectful of animals. If your pet is not so fond of kids, we can work around that too. About this sitter: If you have an animal that is too anxious to leave your home, or can't leave your home, I will come to them. I have experience with cats, dogs, rabbits, pocket pets, amphibians, birds, and fish. Being a veterinary technician, I love to care for, and get to know, all animals. I will come care for your pet at least once per day, up to four times per day, to spend time playing with and getting to know each pet. If I am needed to make more than one visit per day, I am available to do that for an additional, but reduced fee. I am living the dream currently through Rover! Meet my pets We have two female Bullmastiffs and two males. Ganymede is 7 years old. He is very friendly with everyone and has never been part of an awkward or dangerous situation. Maggie is 3 years old. She is also a Champion in conformation and has her canine good citizen certification. We are currently working on her Rally title. Our newest additions are Maui and Moana. They are 6 months old and are currently in obedience and conformation classes to learn their manners. They are the best of the breed and love everyone, as Bullmastiffs do. They are crate trained as well. They have grown up in the environment of animals and people coming and going. They think that everyone that comes over is here to play with them and are very much still puppies at mind and heart. I have three male cats. My DSH seal point is Rabbit, Bunny Rabbit Frances to be exact, our DMH Manx mix is Little John, though not so little, and lastly, Rocket Raccoon. They are all very respectful of dogs and will leave them alone if that is either ones preference. They know the moment a dog visitor walks through the door, if they can trust them or not. If they get to know each other and accept each other, they will groom your dog, if your dog permits it ;) About my yard We have just under a quarter acre with a fully fenced back yard. The area is mostly grass, but we now have an 1,100 sq ft turf dog yard as our primary doggy playground. It is dog friendly with a level playing area and room to run. We also have beautiful walking trails to Hazeldale dog park right behind our property. My experience administering medication I am a licensed veterinary technician and have been trained in the administration of drugs orally, IV, SQ, IM, and ID. I am comfortable with any medical concerns if the dog is comfortable with me doing it.
