Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of animals since I was 14. I used to assist my family members with walking their pets, feeding them and occasionally bathing them. my love for taking care of animals was prominent resulting in my mother surprising me with my first dog when I was 16. His name is chance and he is a shelter dog. Taking care of a shelter dog proved to be difficult however it allowed me develop patience which is a good trait to have when dealing with animals. I’d walk chance, feed him and spent my free time training him. Fast forward to the present, my parents now have a second dog named lucki who I have been assisting with whenever I come back home. I also have been pet sitting for about two years now. I’ve taken care of rabbits, cats and dogs for multiple family friends ! I am a very reliable sitter who only wants the best for every animal. I will take amazing care of your fur babies and ensure they meet their daily needs/ be loved !

Our 2 pooches were in great health and happy under Vanessa’s care. My pets are getting old and one can sometimes go 2 days without eating which is scary and needs a med to stimulate her appetite. But it was taken care of and the little 12 yr old chihuahua 12 year was fine and even ate well under her care. I was abroad in England seeing family that I’ve not seen since 2019 due to Covid and it was such a relief to be able to get updates from Vanessa whilst being abroad. It relieved my stress tremendously thanks to the care and attention Vanessa bestowed upon my 2 girls, quirky and stubborn though they can be. I will definitely turn to Vanessa for help with them in the future. The doggies were taken care of for 2 and a half weeks which is not an easy feat. I highly recommend Vanessa!

Vanessa is reliable and responsible and wonderful with all of our animals (cat, dog, bunnies). Our dog loves her and looks forward to the walks Vanessa takes her on. We always feel comfortable and confident leaving things in Vanessa's hands when we leave town. Vanessa is communicative and detail oriented and we feel so lucky that we know her!

I also have good knowledge of obedience techniques as well as good pet toys that keep them entertained and prevent destruction. I also love to cuddle and will be happy to hang out with the animals as well!

A typical day
We love to keep dogs stimulated and active ! We are perfect about dog walking schedules and ensure each dog reaches their daily exercise limit. We can take your pets to dog parks and honestly anywhere else that they are allowed ! I’ve taken person hikes, to beaches and parks where Quinn and I both keep a watchful eye on them.

I’m currently a college student who has a lot of free time this summer! I work part time at a restaurant in Berkeley, however I only work night shifts a couple of times during the week. I’m very flexible and can pet sit or dog walk!
