Hey there! I personally think Vanessa was one of the best pet sitters I’ve ever had. She was recommended to me by a close friend and wow, was she stellar. She did some things during the times that she pet sat for me that I thought really set her apart from other pet sitters I had. She would frequently send pictures of the animals having fun and just overall look well taken care of. It put a lot of my thoughts at ease. She was never afraid to ask questions when she need answers and she treated the animals with the same respect you would a human. Her love for animals as a whole really is really like no other. I have no doubt that she will do an amazing job for any future takers of her work.

I cannot currently board any animals except cats, however I am eager to housesit or walk any pets. In the past I have petsit for weeks at a time, which included walking, bathing, and general maintenance of the yard and house! I always enjoy throwing the ball for the dogs and playing with the cats, maybe even more than they do :)

Temperament and general care is really important to me! Knowing what makes your dog stressed and excited helps me understand how I can make them most comfortable. Also knowing their favorite toys, if treats are ok, etc.
A typical day
My all-time favorite is always walking or throwing the ball in the sun! In the Bellingham area I love taking my dogs (when they visit me from home) on walks through Whatcom Falls and Lauren Park.

During the summertime I will be working, so requests 3 days in advance would be appreciated. If we end up building a relationship I can take requests with shorter notice! Just gotta get to know you first.
