Finding the right sitter/walker to care for your fur baby is an important decision. If you have a high anxiety dog, I am the sitter for you!! My dog is very high anxiety, specifically separation anxiety, and I have the patience and understanding of what it is to have an animal with this condition. Our animals are our family members, and this is something I take to heart. I've been a dog owner my entire life and I absolutely love animals! I have a 7 year old boy named Corbin (Vizsla) who is the joy of my life. If you decide to book with me, know that I will take care of your pets as if they were mine. I love spending time with animals and I look forward to caring for yours. Benefits of my services include watching and caring for not only your animals but also your property when house sitting. So, when you book with me you will have peace of mind that your fur babies and your property are being well cared for and that's priceless. If you want me to take your animals to the park, I have seat belts in my car for safe pet transport, so I will need your pet to have a harness. I drive an SUV with all-wheel drive, so dirt roads and snow are not an issue. I do give discounts for multiple animals and try to work within your budget. I’m always willing to try my best to be flexible when it comes the caring for more than one animal. In case it is missed during a booking request, the prices that are displayed on here is PER ANIMAL per day. I must point this out as I've experienced some sticker shock from some who must have requested my services but misunderstand how the pricing works on here. As stated above, I do try to work with the pricing for those who have multiple animals. If your animals are low maintenance, chances are we can work something out. :) I can even administer medication and cook if it's required.

Vanessa was very attentive to my dog’s needs and kept me updated throughout his stay by sending pictures and messages about how he was doing. My dog loved playing with and spending the night with Vanessa and her dogs. My dog even seemed sad to leave! I highly recommend Vanessa.

Vanessa stayed at our house for a week. She took excellent care of our two dogs, the house and the yard. Our senior dog is super easy going and loved Vanessa from the moment he met her. Our youngster, a 50lbs Berger Picard (3.5yrs old), is very wary of strangers and requires very gentle yet confident guidance. We wanted to work with Vanessa, because she owns a dog who also struggles with some fears and insecurities. Vanessa went above and beyond to help LuLu adjust and feel confident, including coming over for two “Meet & Greet” sessions. LuLu and Vanessa became friends in less than 24hrs, which is a record for our pup. She followed all our instructions to the “T”, exercised and played with both dogs, sent daily updates and asked questions when needed. She is very responsible and trustworthy. We’ll book her again in a heartbeat.
Vanessa, thank you for keeping an eye on our boys while we enjoyed Santa Fe. We appreciate the pick up and drop off at the exhibit, we still had plenty of time to enjoy inside dining too. We were worried because this was their first time being taken care of by someone we have never met but you made it so easy for us and pleasant for them. I loved seeing you drive off with Sevi staring out of your open window. I knew he’d be happy! Rocket has a lot of anxiety and you were careful with him and sent photos to assure us he was calm and relaxed in your care. Thank you!

I adhere to all local leash ordinance laws when walking my dogs outside of my home area. I make sure my dogs and my client's dogs are safe at all times. I adhere to the rules for the homes that I work in concerning their animals.

It's really important to let me know about any triggers or special needs that your dog may have while you're gone. It's easier to handle if I am aware of possible behaviors that result from specific stimuli. If your dog is afraid of men, women, loud noises, vacuum cleaners, brooms, or other things that is important for me to know as well. I just like to be prepared.
A typical day
I like to play with dogs whether that be keep away, fetch, tug of war, or hide and seek. I like to walk with them and give them stimulating toys like puzzle toys. I like to walk in town or on hiking trails..whichever the client feels most comfortable.

Vanessa can watch in your home
Availability
I work 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with every other Friday off. I will let them out and walk/feed them before going to work and then when I get out of work. Weekends are free and I can spend more one on one time with them.
