Pet care experience
Every dog deserves tiring walks and stimulation throughout the day. Whether you're packing up and leaving for a vacation, or just heading into work - I would love to care for your dog! Our tranquil home consists of myself, my boyfriend, and our 3 year old Sheltie, Greg. You can safely assume there will be tons of play time, and luxurious couch naps after long days in the park. I have years of experience in house sitting, various and multiple pets at one time, administering special medications (orally), and handling large, aggressive breeds. I'm available full time, and am more than happy to accommodate special pet care instructions. Don't let the excitement fool you, no matter your pet's energy level, they'll be happy and healthy with us!

Vanessa was so patient and caring with our dog, Alex. He is a recent adoption and we are working on ways to develop his trust in people. He is nervous and Vanessa understood that the best way to manage it is to give him space and not push him. Although it must have been rather boring for her to hang out and not have him interact with her, she had a positive attitude. We will definitely book her again!
Vanessa was wonderful. I received pictures daily. She was very responsive and the dogs loved her. I would absolutely recommend her 100%!
Loved Vanessa! We had her come to our house to watch our two boys and she did awesome. She sent lots of pictures and I could tell the boys loved her. I felt very comfortable having Vanessa there with them and will definitely book her again. She is so friendly and a natural with dogs. Great sitter!

I have no breed preferences. I have experience in caring for aggressive breeds, and am familiar with the certain attention to detail while walking. I do require any dog that intends to stay in our home, to be friendly towards our dog - Greg. We don't have any cats or children, but they must be OK with other dogs present or receiving affection nearby.
A typical day
I live in an incredibly green area of Rogers Park. We're nearby multiple "Dog Parks" (essentially just large, grassy fields that are fenced off) and only 7 blocks to Loyola Beach. I typically take Greg on 3 , 1 Hour long walks, per day. On days when the weather permits, we explore and find areas for fetch with his favorite tennis ball. Being that sometimes too many dogs is overstimulating for our pup, we prefer casual, lengthy walks.
