Description: I am a senior in University of California, Santa Cruz. I live in a town house right on the base of campus. I have two other roommates that are all dog lovers and that are usually very busy. Your dog is welcomed to be in any area in my house. But for the most part they would be in my room or in my living room. For over night stays, they can sleep in my room either on the floor or on my bed with me. I have plenty of extra blankets so I would make a bed on the floor for them if they decide to stay there. My goal is to make sure your dog is being given attention and love during your time apart. I am also willing to stay at your house, if that makes you more comfortable. Past Experience: I grew up having pet dogs and have been a dog lover my whole life. Once I started college I began to babysit children, but many families also asked me to care for their dogs. I would stay at their homes over the weekends to care for their dogs, while the owners were on vacation. I would follow the owners instructions by feeding them their usual diet. I am comfortable with giving dogs medication, for I have experience in working with dogs who have seizure. What happens during a stay with me: On a stay with me, your dogs will be constantly watched. I enjoy having your dogs be near me for most of their stay, while they are at my house. I also am a 5 minute drive from the beach, so I would take them on a nice walk near the beach. If it is a stay at your house I will also make sure the house looks exactly as the way you left it, and clean up any of the mess. I do have reliable transportation, and if there are any emergencies I would be able to get your dog to where ever it needs to go.
