Reliable and friendly dog walker
I don’t have any animal myself, but I had dogs, bunnies and cats growing up. I’ve been a dog & cat sitter for my family and friends for the last 13 years. I do however have two young daughters so if you decide to leave your dog/cat under my care, they must be kid-friendly. I enjoy taking long walks and I’d love to take your pet along! I often volunteer to go walk with friends who have multiple dogs, so I’m used to it! I’ve walked with big dogs who have lots of energy or others that were a little unsure with having others dogs around. I work part-time so I’m free some days of the week, evenings & weekends. Vanessa and her family are warm and caring, they took good care of our Marabelle. We were able to enjoy our trip without worrying about Marabelle. They sent pictures and messages on how Marabelle was doing. We knew Marabelle was enjoying her time with them.
Vanessa & her family were great with Ivy - she had a very fun stay. Would totally recommend & hoping to see her again soon!

This was my first time ever booking a dog sitter, and the whole process was honestly so easy and stress free. Vanessa was incredibly accommodating on very short notice and even took the time to meet up beforehand so my dog could meet her family and make sure it was a good fit for everyone. She was amazing with communication from start to finish and was so loving and caring with Joey. I got lots of updates and pictures while I was away, which I really appreciated. Vanessa is a fantastic dog caregiver and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pup.

Schedule
I’m currently working part-time so I’m available some days of the week, evenings and weekends. I’m a teacher so I have summers off. My husband works for the Edmonton fire department so between our two work schedules, we’re often two adults at home.

I have a fenced yard so your pups can enjoy playing at the back. I can easily block access to stairs and different rooms if needed.
A typical day
I love going for walks with dogs and spending lots of time with them outside. Evenings are a little more quiet if my daughters are in bed.
