Loving care for your fur babies!
Pet care experience
Hello, pet parents! With a family history of raising dogs, rabbits, gerbils, and Chinchillas, I know the joy and responsibility that comes with caring for our beloved companions. I work remotely, so your fur baby will receive an abundance of love and attention even when you're away. For over 6 years, I provided home care services, including house/pet sitting and childcare. Rest assured; your pet's safety is my priority. I am trustworthy, dependable, fully insured, and hold a pet CPR certification. My home offers a large, fenced yard for playtime, a quiet street, and a nearby park for shaded walks. I am comfortable caring for small to large breeds, from playful puppies to seniors, and the personalities that make each pet special. Your peace of mind matters, and I am here to provide a loving and secure environment for your furry family member. If you're seeking a dog sitter who treats your pet like their own, look no further. Let's schedule a meet-and-greet to ensure the perfect match for your pet's needs. Please send a message to discuss how I can make your pet's time away from you a fun and comfortable experience. 🐾 Your Pet's Happiness is My Priority! 🐾
Reviews
Vanessa is professional and a caring individual. She is truly a dog lover. Her communication is impeccable. She kept me updated on my dogs activity and how he adjusted. Vanessa went a step above and helped with crate/potty training while she had my dog over a course of a few days. She sent picture of him staying right by her side. I will definitely use her again.
Vanessa she is amazing! She is a true dog lover and takes amazing care of my two dogs. She is very responsible, professional and caring. My dogs absolutely love her. They are excited about their visits and love the big fenced backyard. She is excellent with giving updates and has a very clean home! I highly recommend! 🐕

I usually let dogs determine their boundaries within my home. Well-trained dogs are allowed on beds/furniture IF their owners allow that. I have a large crate available if that is the owner’s wish for overnight care. Dogs are mentally and physically entertained and well-exercised. I have an array of toys, puzzles, and other enrichment activities, which will be washed between visitors. I utilize baby gates for pups that are still in training (potty or behavioral) to limit them to pup-proof living and dining areas.

Information Vanessa B. would like to know about your pet
I like knowing the usual things like allergies, preference of toy types, anticipated frequency of potty breaks, exercise tolerance. It’s also helpful to know an owner’s preference for updates. Some like an update only every few days; others prefer updates every few hours. I’m happy to provide the full spectrum, so just let me know your preference. I also like knowing training & behavioral goals so that I can be sure to reinforce them. Working on “leave it,” not jumping, heeling, “soft mouth,” not begging, roll-over, happily entering crate, stay, Canine Good Citizen, etc? Let me know, and I’ll work extra hard on that. I have studied positive reinforcement, trigger unstacking, and desensitization methods. I also will need confirmation that all vaccinations are UPD.
A typical day
I appreciate the uniqueness and quirks of every animal and am passionate about providing a positive experience for each animal. I love to stimulate pets physically and emotionally. A typical day would include a good hike to a park, some play time there, excursions to any pet-friendly places I go, some puzzle time as part of their feedings, frequent play breaks, cuddles and belly rubs. Really, they’re like family, and I use their behavior to guide what their needs are throughout their day so that it’s a positive experience for both of us. I don’t force long walks when a dog is clearly tired, and I’ll add additional experiences when a dog needs more attention. I would close the day with some wind-down time with a chewy or a massage or cuddles, whichever best suits the dog (and the owner’s preferences).
