Pet care experience
I love dogs, and would have 5+ of them of my own if I thought having 5 dogs Full Time was something I was capable of. I also love cats! Never a cat of my own, but I've enjoyed the company of many kitties with roommates along the years. I'd love to help care and adore your pets while you are away, so I get the enjoyment of having a beautiful creature around sometimes without needing to own so many. I have my own dog, she's 10lbs and 11 years old and I've cared for her since she was a puppy. I have been working with Rover off and on (just due to moving around some) for 2 years and LOVE the experiences, humans, and animals I have met so far! I am currently only able to do drop in visits or dog walking, but will soon be available again for dog boarding in my home and I cannot wait! I hope I can meet you and your loved one(s) soon and give them the attention and love they deserve while you're away! Thank you!

Vanessa is wonderful! She is our go-to for Dudley and I think this is our 4th or 5th time working with her. She is very responsive, sends pics and updates, and we know our dog is well taken care of while we're gone.

Vanessa took such good care of my two girls! I was a little anxious leaving them for the first time with someone I didn’t know, but I got a great feeling about Vanessa from the start. She made sure to spend time with my girls during our meet-and-greet and paid attention to my descriptions of their behaviors and what they liked and disliked. During their stay she sent me updates and photos on how things were going, which really put me at ease. I can tell that they had a great time based on how “at home” they seemed to be when I picked them up. I definitely will look to Vanessa for any future doggy sitting needs....and would recommend her to anyone who may be looking for dogsitting arrangements. ??

Are they potty trained? (Not a deal breaker, just want to know about crates/current signals to look for/how often you go outside/key words Do they like other dogs? Do they like other people? Do they bark often?
A typical day
We'll definitely be taking walks, some short for quick potty breaks but some long to get in our daily exercise- but always adjusted to what your pup wants and needs too! We might spend a nice afternoon on the patio relaxing- taking in some fresh air as well. I have lots of toys and will play as little or as much as your pup wants to.
