My husband and I have always been “dog people” and have had fur babies since we met in 2008. We love big dogs, small dogs and all kinds in between.

We live in a single-family home with a fenced back yard, as well as a fenced front yard. We live in a walkable neighborhood where we can offer walks daily. I’m also a runner if your dog likes to jog. Our dog does not jog :) Speaking of our dog, Sadie is a social butterfly and has never met a dog she didn’t like. I’ve never heard a growl out of her. She is a real sweetheart and a gracious host.

We have two young children and a very friendly Pyrenees-Lab mix who weighs 85 pounds. If you think your dog will do well with all of these family members, we are happy to have him.
A typical day
We are an outdoorsy family with an active lifestyle. If trips to the trail or dog park are appropriate for your dog, then we can definitely incorporate those types of outings into your dog’s stay. Our daily routine includes walks in our neighborhood and lots of play indoor and outside in our large yard. At our house, we have one couch that we allow the dogs to get on, but we have a couple of dog beds and cozy rugs. I promise your dog will get lots of cuddles on the floor! We let dogs in the bed sometimes. It just depends on the size and activity level of each pup.
