I have been wanting to work with animals since I was little. My first plan was to be a veterinarian, but as time went on, that didn’t pan out due to the cost of schooling and I don’t think I could handle seeing injured animals. I am lucky and have had pets my entire life, starting with my first dog Mariah when I was three years old in 1986. She passed away in 2003 and I was devastated. I vowed to never get another dog. But then in 2005, my beloved Bowie came into my life as a stray. He was my shadow every day for almost 15 years. Unfortunately, old age caught up to him and he passed away in January of 2020 😔 I still haven’t fully recovered, he was my best friend. I was able to get a new baby girl in October 2020 named Fritz!!! She’s a little over 2 years old and an Aussie/heeler/lab mix. She’s crazy and I adore her! I am more than happy to help out somebody who also loves dogs. I have also had seven cats throughout my lifetime and happy to help with them as well! My beloved 19 year old cat Ash just passed away January 1st of 2022 and I greatly miss his presence. I just love felines.
