I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I have a 12 year old Shih Tzu of my own that I have cared for since I was a teen. I frequently dog sit for family & friends and I have experience with all kinds of breeds. In the past, I have cared for small and large breeds as well as senior dogs & puppies! A dog’s safety and well-being is my number one priority.

Vanessa is my go-to dog sitter! I have 2 huskies that are energetic and rambunctious. I know that my pups are in good hands when she is taking care of them, keeping up with their meds, watching them carefully and maintaining their schedule. I can peacefully go on trips and feel like I’m right by my dogs side when Vanessa is with them. She has a calm demeanor and a deep love for animals which makes them naturally gravitate towards her. She loves my puppies dearly and has experience with large, small, energetic, and even mischievous dogs such as my own. Vanessa also shares daily photos so I can see my babies when I am not home. Vanessa is a truly remarkable person when it comes to caring for pets. Her love, patience, and natural ability to connect with dogs are unparalleled. She has cared for my Golden Retriever, Milo, and she always treats him like her own. His tail wags so hard and he gets the zoomies every time he sees her. I put my full trust in her and I know that Milo will feel loved, safe, and happy when he is with her. She is such a sweet, loving, and kind soul and this exudes to not only people but to the animals she cares for, upon meeting her. I live in a house with a fenced backyard & plenty of walking trails. My shih tzu is older and likes to keep to herself, so she will not bother your pet! I make sure to keep all pets within my view & if for any reason I need to step away, I have household members that are always around to keep an eye. Everyone in my household is an adult with the exception of a 17 year old. I can assure that your pet will always be safe & have plenty of people to play with!

A typical day
I love to play in the backyard if it’s not too hot. There is a very pretty pond where I usually walk my own dog around and so many walking trails in the community I live in.

Availability
I currently work from home Monday through Friday. I can do drop ins/walks any day (mostly in the evenings on weekdays due to my work schedule) and boarding/day care during the weekends. I can be flexible, so if you need extra accommodations I can definitely work with you. A meet & greet will be required for any new clients to make sure we’re a good fit!
