Pet care experience
Drop-in lover, and walk lover! All pets are drawn to me and love me. Professionally I'm an 8-5 office geek. On the side, I've taken care of other's pets all throughout my life. I realize that pets are family! I'm happy to play, care, feed and be present with your pets, just as if they were my own. Let me know how I can help. I currently don't have any pets of my own, so helping you with your's fills that void! Walks and drop-ins are certainly doable! Short overnight stays work best with my busy schedule. Do you have to run out of town quickly for work? I'd be happy to drop in and feed, play and exercise your Lady or Tramp or Garfield.

I have a rescue that isn’t a big fan of new people but when Van comes to my house my dog Jack loves Van. He snuggles up to him and goes on walks with him too!! He loves Van and isn’t a big fan of men that come into the house.
Van is a great care-giver for my 2 Persians and has watched them for me on several occasions. They run to the door when he arrives, and I think they prefer him to me when I'm here. ;) He spends time with them, doesn't just rush in to feed them. I think he would like me to travel more often so he could hang out with the "dudes" more. Any pet would be in great hands with Van -- he loves dogs and cats and they love him. I would highly recommend Van to anyone who needs someone to care for their pets.
I really cannot say enough great things about Van, his character and how well he cared for Zeke while he was alive. He always went above and beyond to ensure he had everything he needed while I was on the road. This ranged from the essentials of food and water, to being let out often (especially as he got older and needed to be out more often), to walking him in the neighborhood, even to bringing him toys and items he knew Zeke loved. I always felt comfortable and at ease when out of town, because I knew Van would care for Zeke the same as I would, which is a great feeling! The two had a pretty strong bond. In Zeke's last hours, Van made certain he came over to pay his last respects and even brought with him Zeke's favorite "human" thing to eat...a Runza hamburger. Zeke hadn't eaten for days, but he gobbled this up, which gave us both a much-needed chuckle. Again, cannot say enough great things about Van...he is a gem that anyone could feel safe leaving their pets in the care of.
