Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs since I was 8, growing up with four dogs and helping to raise two of them from puppyhood. I adopted my last dog (a mini schnauzer mutt) in Houston and took care of him into his senior years. I currently have no pets but would love to give your dog a lot of love and attention while you are away!

Valessa and her partner Charlie were so caring and attentive to my dog Dill while I was traveling for work. They took him for multiple walks during the day, (way more than he gets at home with me!), and lots of cuddles. I really appreciated all the photos and videos I received too—it brought me assurance to see how happy Dill was. Thank you so much Valessa!
Valessa was a wonderful sitter! She sent lots of great updates with photos and videos and made sure Benny was well taken care of! She took him on lots of adventures including some great walks and trips to the dog park. When our arrival home was delayed due to weather she offered to drive Benny to another location for me and was extremely patient and flexible. We will definitely be using Valessa again! I’m very confident that my pup was in great hands and had a wonderful weekend!
Valessa was a wonderful sitter and took excellent care of my dog, Shanti. She was also very communicative and accommodating; sent lots of happy pictures of her and took her on 3 walks during a short day stay. I would ask her to look after Shanti again in a heartbeat!

A typical day
I love visiting the dog park or going on hikes, if this is something your dog enjoys. We can also take a gentle walk around the neighborhood if your dog has mobility issues.
