I have been pet sitting since childhood and have a passion for animal care. I have personally owned reptiles, rodents, amphibians, a bird, cats, and dogs. I also have extensive experience in fostering adoptable animals and administering meds, including injections. I also have kept and looked after poultry and am willing to watch small livestock. I look forward to taking the best care of your pet(s) when you are unavailable to do so.

A basic drop in visit would consist of affection as well as feeding, administration of medication, and outdoor time when indicated. Walks and playtime of longer length are also available. I can capable of handling small and large dogs, and have experience with escape artists!

It's important to me that pet owners be honest and up front about their pets' bahaviors. Although I pride myself on being a reader of canine body language, it's helpful to know if a dog has a history of fear or reactiveness towards humans or other animals. My goal is to make your pet very comfortable with my presence and enjoy our time together.
A typical day
I will try to match my energy to your pet's! I love playing games and providing enrichment activities for pets with lots of energy, as well as snuggling on the couch with the more laid back type. I have lots of puzzle games and snuffles mats I can bring along on visits. If your dog enjoys car rides, we can go to a local woodlot for a walk or through the drive thru for ice cream :) I also live taking photos and can send you lots of updates on our time spent together.

I currently work just 2-3 days a week, so I am happy to do my best to accommodate your schedule. Walks and/or playdates can be arranged with one of my friendly dogs if that is something your dog would enjoy.
