Pet care experience
Hello! I am a life-long pet lover and owner. Throughout my life, I have lived with dogs ranging from a toy poodle to a husky mix. Outside of my own pets, I have often pet sat for neighbors and friends for dogs up in size to a great dane. I have always cared for pets with love, understanding, and with a goal of providing maximum happiness for them. I am currently available full time to best be able to care for the furry members of your family. Understanding that each household is unique in their needs, I am very willing and able to learn exactly what you prefer when it comes to the health and happiness of your dog/s. Whether it be a few check-ins during the day or someone to provide extended care, I'm the person for you.

Information Valerie W. would like to know about your pet
The most important thing I need to know about a dog is what their social preferences and anxieties are. How do they do with other animals (should dog-parks or public spaces be avoided?), are they afraid of storms, or any other details that stand out about their personalities. Of course, dietary, exercise, and training needs are also highly important as well. Things like, are they allowed on furniture? Do they receive a treat after their walk? My goal is make my time with your animal/s as smooth as a transition as possible from your care to mine.
A typical day
Depending on your dog's needs, I would love to take them to a nearby walking path, dog park, or a stroll nearby. If a short walk and then relaxing is what they need, I am happy to provide that as well. Sometimes, playing fetch for a half-hour is what is prescribed, and it is my pleasure to do so. I am very open to/prefer a conversation with you to really learn what your dog and you prefer for our time together.
