I started walking dogs as a kid, and worked my way up through vet school, then straight into rescue & training/rehabilitation. I've loved, and worked with animals my whole life..... I've got heart,education, and experience! Btw, i'm also willing and able to care for any and all types of pets, not just kitties and pups! Ask me about grooming & de-shedding services!

Such a great help! Being 19 hours away from my friend who just had a major surgery and couldn’t walk their dog, Valerie was a Godsend. She walked Bo and other arrangements were made between her and my friend to help them out a little more. Very trustworthy, reliable, and great with high energy dogs!!! I couldn’t thank her enough for her help!
Valerie was amazing fitting us in last minute. And the walking details with photos was so awesome! We will use her again in future for sure!
Valerie has been very much appreicated as our pet sitter for "Maddie" the dog and "Phantom" the cat. She has been available at the last minute when we are in a pinch, and not only does she attend to our pets basic needs but also to their need for attention and stimulation. She brings interactive toys for both dog and cat, she sends videos so that we are not anxious about the well being of our pets, and she goes above and beyond with little touches such as special treats ( with our permission of course), suggestions for training, addressing animal behaviors, toys, and she even brought in our package that was on the step while we were away. She is pro-active and thoughtful and we will continue to utilize her services for our dog Maddie and cat Phantom :-)

Safety is priority #1, always! I have over a decade of experience and training with k9 body language and the mentalities of animals in just about any environment or situation. I think im more k9 than human at this point! Im able and comfortable to remain calm in stressful situations, as well as calming/comforting the babies involved, therefore im able to descalate and solve or avoid any harmful situations. Im always watching for potential risks or dangers to ensure your baby's safety at all times. Another big thing is that, I only use positive reinforced training. Your pet will only be encouraged to willingly make a choice that earns praise! So, yes, I will absolutely work with even the "spicy and feisty" pets and i have plenty of education and experience there too!

A typical day
I use positive reinforced training only, so your fur baby will always be treated with love. I have a deep understanding of their mental and physical needs. So during each visit, we could do a variety of training, tricks and brain games, tailored to each individual pet, or at the request of the pet parent!. I avoid the chaos of dog parks in trade for a walk through the park or a nature trail. My walking clients always get a mile walk, again depending on each pets ability.

I'm currently a stay at home mom with a toddler, so my schedule is super open, and I'm available just about anytime, even on short notice. I work around your schedule, Im available anytime! My prices are negotiable as well, i know not everyone can afford pet care, so dont be afraid to ask!
