Hi! I’m Valerie and a little bit about me: I’m an animal rights advocate and I also volunteer with multiple rescues in the city. I post a lot about my experiences with animals on my Instagram page @valerieandthenycpets I completely understand the struggle of going to the store and missing your furry kids because they couldn’t come with you. I have a lot of experience and at the same time I’m constantly learning more about pets. I also do Rover full time and would love to meet your pets!

Valerie was incredibly communicative and attentive. I’m an obnoxiously anxious pet parent so I was glad she was so understanding with me checking in for FaceTime for my girl Loba. What type of personality type they have? Do they like a lot of walks? What are their eating and sleeping schedules? Anything that might help me improve their experience! For dogs: potty breaks and eating schedule, can they be around other dogs? Can they go to the dog park? House trained? For cats: Food, water, litter and pets/playtime!
A typical day
whatever they’re comfortable doing!! Some doggies are very active and love the dog park and some prefer to lay down and nap ? let me know what they prefer and I’ll adapt to that!

Availability
Currently doing rover full-time! So most times work for me! I babysit every once in a while but I’m usually away for no more than 2-4 hours! Please keep in mind I rely on public transportation and some delays might happen that can be out of my control, if it’s an emergency I can Uber and make sure I’m there ASAP! For house sitting, I’ll be there most of the day but I’ll have to leave at some point in the day for a couple of hours (no more than 2-4 hours) If you’re doing daycare I will be with your pet the whole time you request but keep in mind the rates are different! ❤️
