Pet care experience
Ever since I was little I have always had dogs. As soon as we bought our own place we immediately adopted a dog because there's just something so comforting to me about having a furry companion around. We started off with bully breeds (English & French) so we're very well-versed in dealing with strong, stubborn dogs, who typically come along with additional care. We are now an approved foster family with a local rescue out of Lancaster, PA and have helped several dogs find their perfect forever homes! While it can be difficult to let them go, it makes our hearts happy knowing we helped them live a better life off of the streets. My husband, son, and I all love dogs and can't imagine our lives without them!

We have a dog of our own that LOVES other dogs so your pet will always have a playmate or a snuggle buddy. We take at least 1 walk a day through the neighborhood to burn off energy and our backyard is also secured with a 6ft privacy fence to give them time to run and play. We live very close to Canine Meadows dog park if you'd prefer that as a form of exercise over walks. My husband and I both work from home so someone is always around for bathroom breaks, playtime, or just some extra love. We only pet sit one dog at a time so we can ensure your dog has the best experience at our house and gets spoiled with all of our attention!

A typical day
We go on daily walks through our neighborhood or the dogs have access to our fenced in backyard. For a calmer activity I use treats wrapped in towels, frozen carrots, or treat puzzles for mental stimulation.

My husband and I both work from home so we have plenty of opportunities for bathroom breaks, walks, and play time. We have one dog of our own who gets daily walks in our quiet neighborhood or can play in our fenced in yard safely!
