Valerie is a wonderful caring person, I can trust her with my own dogs she’s so responsible that if you need her she would be happy to help with any question. I have to thank her because of her my dogs know a lot of tricks and they listen to me and that was I big problem for me.

Valarie is amazing. My Labrador and my little Boston Terrier love her. She’s reliable and she knows exactly how to handle dogs and command their respect. Finding her was a godsend, someone we can trust and count in when we need her.

I have known Valerie R. for many years now and have seen her train and raise her two dogs, Benzy and Vador. She has shown patience with them and a lot of love. Valerie acknowledges that every pet is different and she does a lot to understand each pet individually. I've also seen Valerie do research regarding her pets' health and diet and even make her own dog food! Valerie truly has a lot of love and understanding of pets and it's taught her a lot about respect and maturity and I believe she has a lot to contribute to your organization and highly recommend her for position as a pet caregiver and dog walker. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach to me directly.

We have used Valerie’s services for years and would recommend her to anyone! We have two dogs, one that is large and full of energy while the other is small and a little timid. They both love Valerie and she handles them both very well. It can be hard to trust a stranger in your home but Valarie has proven to be extremely trustworthy! We love that she is always improving her knowledge on dog first aid, and training. She even asks us about what commands our dogs know and spends time drilling this commands when she watches them. She is the best and I can’t recommend her enough!

Safety, trust & environment

First I would like to get to know the owner and the dog. Then I will ask them about their dog if they have any health problems or any concerns I need to know about. When its time to take the dog for a walk, I will make sure they are geared right for the walk and my self as well. For example, I like to make sure the leash is on right or collar for safety precautions. I always like to carry an extra leash just in case. I also like to carry a pepper spray just for emergencies. I also like to carry treats on a walk for training and emergencies as well and of course poop bags. I have experience with dogs so I know enough information about safety precautions. For example, i have an understanding how to read a dogs body language, read signs of a heat stroke, and choking. A understanding of nutrition and diet for dogs. Not a certified canine nutritionist but I do my research and watch videos that’s how I got my info. How to break up a dog fight. Also how to train dogs.

A typical day

The key to a calm and tired dog is to exercise them physically and mentally. So I love to first let them sniff around the neighborhood. Nose work is a really good thing to do with your dog it mentally stimulates their mind which can cause them to get the energy they have out. So letting them sniff is a good start. Then of course walk them and do some fun training in between.

Presently I don’t have a stable job right now, so I have more free time. My free time usually goes to my dogs. I train them, play with them, and be around them and it’s something i enjoy doing. Why not help people out with their dogs and satisfy their dogs needs. It also fits into my life because i can work but also find pleasure doing it. I also clean houses right now so I work on my own schedule and on top of that I’m working on getting my esthetician license.
