Pet care experience
I've always had pets of my own and have taken care of other people's pets since I was 15 years old. Now, I am a breeder of English Cream Golden Retrievers and I have learned so much over the years. Happy, healthy dogs are my priority. I have dogs of my own at home, so we have a daily routine which includes feeding, walks, training, grooming and loving our dogs. When we have another dog over at the house, they all happily play together, and it's easy to add another dog into the routine. As a breeder, I have set up my home and yard with dogs and puppies in mind. We have a fenced yard with a small lawn and a deck that perfect for doggy sunbathing. When it's hot, we pull out the kiddie pool so the dogs can splash and cool off. The dogs all sleep inside and we have crates that can accomodate most sizes of dogs. We have dogs of our own, so your dog will always have a friendly playmate here.

Val is so sweet. I have a dog with seperation anxiety and a phobia of dogs. In 24 hours he was part of the pack and almost didnt want to come home. She is great with all the tricks and her own dogs are sweet as pie.

I feel so lucky that we found Valerie on Rover. She’s one amazing dog sitter and Ella loves going over to play and hang with Valerie and her sweet dogs. I like to know if they get along well with other dogs and kids, if they are spayed or neutered, whether or not they are food motivated for training, have any food allergies, if they are crate trained, where they like to sleep, and what they like to do for fun!
A typical day
When I wake up I like to greet all my dogs on their level. I make sure they all get a chance to have some love and I take them outside. I like to have my coffee while I watch them play in the backyard. We do a morning walk after breakfast, and usually another walk in the afternoon. On nice days the backdoor is always open so the dogs can play in the backyard anytime they want. We love an evening walk after dinner, then we put the dogs in their crates or let them choose where to sleep (depending on the maturity of the dog).

I spend most of my time at home playing with, grooming, and walking dogs, and my husband works from home. When I do step out, the dogs love to hang out with Bentley.
