I have always had a great love for dogs. Over the years, I have cared for the pets of family, friends, and neighbors on numerous occasions. I have 4+ years of experience walking dogs at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast and the Alachua County Humane Society and have been walking dogs here in Gainesville for over a year now. I have reliable transportation, a very flexible schedule, and will make sure your dog is happy and healthy in my care. I am capable of providing walks/runs, feeding, cleaning, bathing, playtime, adventures, awesome pictures, and lots of love! Whether your pup needs an energizing trip to the dog park or a slow walk around the block, I'd be happy to help. Overall, I am a dog loving college student looking forward to taking care of your best friends!

Valerie walked my dog for 5 weeks, once a day, Monday through Friday. I had just moved to town and needed to work long hours. She sent updates and pictures everyday. The walks always went above and beyond the 30 min I had paid for. I came home to a well-exercised, calm and happy dog- who had been brushed to boot! As a bonus, she is also very good with cats. I highly recommend Valerie. She is professional and also truly loves animals. I will definitely hire her again,
Valerie watched all 5 of my pets 3 dogs, 1 cat and a bird while we were on vacation this past July. Valerie is very loving and caring person and wonderful with the animals. She sent pics and videos while we were away and the animals just love her. I would highly recomend her for your pet sitting needs!

Age, energy level, and any quirks/problems they may have are helpful information when getting to know your dog. Do they have separation anxiety? Are they aggressive toward other dogs/animals? I love each and every dog I meet and I don't believe in "dangerous" dog breeds; therefore, I have no particular breed preferences. I have experience working with a variety of dog breeds, big and small, from volunteering at the Humane Society for 4+ years. I personally grew up with a Yorkshire Terrier, and I currently own a Pitbull/Lab/Rottweiler mix.
A typical day
I would love to take your dog on a number of fun adventures! I can provide simple neighborhood walks/runs, playtime in the yard/house, or even take your dog on field trips to the dog park and local hiking spots.
