I've loved animals and been a pet owner all my life. I've never met a dog or cat I didn't like. Their individual personalities are as diverse as we are. That's why they are so fascinating and fun to watch. As a recently retired teacher, I have the time to devote to pets now and all my clearances including FBI are still current. I use the same calm, loving voice I used with my children and bribe with Milk Bones whenever necessary. Well, just the dogs. I'm a 9 to 5 kind of gal but flexible. My acre-plus yard is large enough to walk most dogs without taking them on the street. My extensive number of years owning dogs and cats, especially from owning Border Collies, hopefully, gives me enough experience so that nothing much will surprise me. Then again, you never know.
