Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of dogs since middle school, I was the dog-walker and sitter for the neighborhood. I have been dog waking/sitting, cat sitting and farm sitting in Maine since October 2021

I have a kitten at home, so when I come over to see your pet I’m always very gentle and cautious with my approach to make sure the pet has plenty of time and space to warm up to me. I can clean up messes, play tug-of-war or fetch for hours, and walk or run with your dog- whatever you’d like! Same with cats- I’m happy to clean litter boxes, feed, play and show love to any kitty! As a cat person I also understand that your cat may take a while to warm up to me or just stay hidden when I drop in- that’s totally okay too. I’m happy just to get to spend time with different animals!
Information Valerie M. would like to know about your pet
Along with any feeding information, it’s helpful for me to know any commands your dog responds well to, any medical conditions or even if their stool is runny that week it’s nice to know ahead of time so I know not to be concerned! Lastly, if your dog has any triggers, doesn’t mesh well with other dogs, adults or children that is useful information. Thank you!
A typical day
I love to run and walk with dogs, play fetch or tug of war or whatever else they like! I’m happy to follow your routine or switch it up- whatever your preference is.

I work full-time during the week, but am available for pop-ins and walks early morning and after work on weekdays, and all day on weekends.
