Pet care experience
Rest assured, when you need care for your furry, feathered or scaly loved one, they will be in wonderful hands with me. All my life I've taken care of many different types of animals. After college, in addition to my own (mostly rescued) dogs and cats, both kittens/puppies and senior, I also rescued/fostered other animals, finding forever homes for them. I volunteered for over 10 years at a no kill animal shelter where I got very good at giving various cat and dog medications. Now as an early retiree I have time to help more people than just friends/family with pet sitting. I'm comfortable with any age and type of animal and prefer pet sitting at your home. but I do have a fenced in large yard with one friendly dog who could use some company so if needed we could talk about if pet sitting here rather than at your place would work.

I have half acre of land with fenced in backyard that has large clean lawn for exercise and when needing to pee/poop. Also have a large sunroom with AC & heat and sofa your dog can sleep on. My 10 year old lab dog is very friendly with other dogs to give your dog company. For cats, I have plenty of inside space for boarding to keep separation from my own cats or can make pet care visits to your home.

Please let me know if your pet has any special dietary needs or medications or anything else that I need to provide. For pets that need extra attention your pet can cuddle with me on my sofa and can sleep in its own pet bed closer to my bedroom rather than in the sunroom.
A typical day
With my large fenced in yard that is mostly lawn with some trees and shrubs your dog will have a great time running around and exploring it and playing with my dog. I also have a long sidewalk in front of my house to take walks if additional exercise is desired on your part.

For boarding at my home I am in west Raleigh/east Cary area and am recently retired to give full attention to your pet weekdays & weekends. For pet sitting at your home I prefer a short drive from same area and can stop by at least twice per day.
