Pets have been apart of my life. From growing up with our family pets to being a dog mom and aunt in my adult life. I find that each animal holds their own personality and once that is recognized a strong relationship can be built. Valerie was an excellent cat-sitter, arriving promptly at the same time each day and sending detailed messages with adorable photos! She went above and beyond creating a checklist of all the important tasks and bringing in mail/watering plants!
We cannot say enough positive things about Valerie! We had a few rotations of sitters to cover the several weeks we were gone (family and a neighbor), and Valerie was definitely the most experienced of them all. Our one cat takes a pill daily, and while he takes it just fine for his mom, he wasn't taking it for the sitters. Valerie came up with safe, creative ways to get him to take his pill. She also left wonderfully detailed check-in notes and was very communicative. We'd highly recommend her if you want peace of mind that someone experienced and compassionate is taking care of your fur children!
My dog is a handful and Valerie just clicked with her. She understands dogs and mine instantly trusted her.
Valerie provided excellent care for my bunny Kevin while we were out of town. The notes for her drop-in visits were very thorough and Valerie went above and beyond expectations. I had no worries leaving Kevin in her care. I definitely recommend Valerie and will use her as a bun-sitter in the future!

I currently work full time. Please check with me about specific times and days. I am open to long and short term contracts. At this time, I am unable to host in my home. I am available to sit in your home. If this is our first time meeting, please request far enough in advance so that we could have a meet and greet.
