Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with various pets, but only in the last 8 years have I been privileged enough to have the full spectrum of responsibility of raising puppies and kittens to adulthood! Raising animals has given me a fresh perspective on how valuable and precious each life is, as well as an appreciation for individual personalities. I currently have pets covering land, air, and sea and would love to help take care of your animals when you are needed elsewhere!

Valerie is a caring, responsible, and devoted dog mom to her two dogs, and has cared for her own cat in the past. When she visits, my dogs get very excited and will not leave her alone. I never worry when she cares for my dogs and cat. She is detail-oriented and thoughtful, always follows instructions and will ask questions to make sure our pets' needs are met. She is our go-to pet sitter if she is not booked!

My dogs get several potty breaks during the day because if we can’t be expected to hold it in for hours on end then why should they? For my household, their potty breaks and play time are inside a fenced yard (checked routinely for holes/gaps), with occasional walks for extra stimulation/exercise and couch time for tons of cuddles! Fish get fed twice a day, morning and dusk when they are most actively “hunting”, and the birds get a 1-2x daily check for food and water. My previous cats had their litter scooped as often as needed (usually every other day) and lots of attention for playtime and cuddles! I will adhere to the schedule and rules of my clients in terms of how to approach their loved ones’ care.

Availability
I am a stay-at-home wife with flexible scheduling. I can cover late mornings until evenings/early nights, unless a pop-in at night is needed for the furry companion to settle in to bed overnight. I do currently have fitness classes on Mondays & Wednesdays that take me out from 4pm-8pm, but any other day I am available during those hours.
