In addition to being dog enthusiast and owner, I've volunteered at dog shelters and rescue organizations and have expertise giving medicine and caring for elderly or handicapped pets. NEW TO ROVER? I consider pets to be an integral part of life, but also understand that, in certain cases, owners may temporarily split from their cherished animal friends owing to unforeseen events. Therefore, it's critical to stay in touch with pet owners when you're abroad, and I am here to help facilitate that. Communication with owners is important and daily updates in the form of video/photos/text messages would be included. I will be pleased to offer baths, home cooked meals, love and of course, walks (1 hr in daily total). Additional daily rates (+£5) will apply for each additional 30 minutes of walk requested. Please let me know about any specific requests you may have, and know that they will be given top attention.

Well I don't really want to leave a review, as would like to keep this gem of a lady all for ourselves, but she truly deserves the 5 stars and more. I was let down last minute and Valerie accepted to have him, my lil man can be anxious so was worried as normally like to met someone beforehand but she put me at ease. She was warm and welcoming and sent pics and videos throughout the day and my lil man had a super day, so much so that I've booked her for the rest of the week. What more can I say, one super sitter.
Valerie was great. We visited with our dog before we booked just to check things out. Then we booked! We got lots of updates about how our dog was doing (with nice pics) and have just collected a very contented dog.
Waffle had a great time staying with Valerie, who was really good at keeping in contact and sending updates. She walked Waffle regularly and spent time letting her socialise with other dogs. All-in-all a great experience. I'm completely happy to recommend Valerie's and have every intention of asking her to look after Waffle again when we next go away.
We had a great experience leaving our dog with Valerie. We got regular updates and could see our pet is well taken care of by a very responsible and responsive caretaker. Will definitely use her services again!

I have a fenced courtyard with access to a fenced garden. Pee breaks will be given every 0-4 hours, or more frequent if necessary. For safety reasons, your dogs will always be leashed when outdoors. Please bring along any beddings, leash, or even special food if required. As my own dog requires homecooked prep, I would be able to assist if your dog has more complex food requirements. Upon request, Apple tag services can be provided to your pet’s collar or lead for your ease of mind.

I have no preference for breeds but have experience handling pets up to 32 kilograms. Please bring along any pet beddings, leash, toys or even your worn clothes so that your pet might be able sniff your scent to reduce separation anxiety :) Your pet’s comfort, safety and health would be our top priority ❤️
A typical day
Explore parks and nature walks around the neighbourhood, and I have an arsenal of dog toys for playtime to keep your pet engaged and mentally stimulated. High value treats such as cheese will be provided unless told otherwise. If necessary, there is a mega pet store nearby and I could bring the doggos for shopping time!

I'll be working on this full-time, while my partner works from home. You can be assured that your pet will receive our undivided care. I can only take one or two reservations (depending on load) at a time as I have a visually disabled senior Shih Tzu at home.
