Pet care experience
I have two self- and well-trained dogs who love other animals - an 11 y/o Border Collie and 3 y/o Golden Retriever. I've kept all ranges of animals for friends for 10+ years. From Yorkies and Saint Bernards to bearded dragons, kitties, and rabbits — I'm a furry and scaley friend lover. I have experience administering pill and liquid medicine, and can guarantee a great time for your pet for any length of stay or service! My goal is to give them as much love and attention when you’re away as when you’re home.

Could not have had a better experience with Val. Not only was she super attentive and thoughtful with Brigsby but sent us multiple updates and pictures throughout the day. Her dogs were so fun for Brigsby to play with! 100000% would book her again!!!!
Val was so great with watching Brigsby for the day! She was so attentive and thoughtful with him, bringing him on multiple walks throughout the day. She communicated frequently with lots of pictures and updates. Highly highly recommend Val every time!!

Val has watched our high energy dog for a few years and always takes the best care of him! She always takes him on walks even though he sometimes drags her! And she is the best about picking up after his messes! It so nice to be able to go out of town knowing our fur-baby is so well cared for!

I live on a culdesac with a great, fenced-in backyard. Dixie and Kevin are great hosts and very friendly to small and large dogs. I have frequently cared for our friends' dogs while they're away including Greyhounds, Labs, Spaniels, Shepherds, Doodles, and Hounds. Besides being able to run around the backyard, we take them on at least two walks per day and can adjust the length and quantity of times based on your pet’s needs. We love to take adventures, so if that's something you'd be okay with during a stay, we like to think we're good photographers! :)

I'd like to know about any previous aggression issues the dog may have had with cats and/or dogs so that I can be prepared on walks. Any nuances about your pet - personality, medicine, food, grooming, etc. I want to be sure your pet is always as comfortable as possible during a stay or service!
A typical day
About anywhere in Southern Utah is great for dog walking. If your dog is trained off-leash, we live 20 steps from small trails near Black Desert Resort! If your pup needs to stay in a fence, we have that covered too! My Dixie girl would love to play fetch with a furry friend!

Availability
I work fully remote and can work with many different schedules, including weekend days. I can both take the time needed to do walks or drop-in visits, or spend time working remotely from your home for longer stays, so your pets always have someone there.
