Pet care experience
First and foremost, I am an animal lover and an animal safety advocate. Whether it's in your own home, a walk around the block, or a visit to a dog park, your pet will be in capable hands, feeling safe and happy. I am attentive, reliable, trustworthy, patient, and friendly. I have taken care of many different kinds of breeds/species; dogs, cats, and exotic animals. I have also spent my free time volunteering at an animal shelter as a dog handler to help find homes. In the past, I have worked as a veterinary assistant and I also come from a military background with a great understanding of last-minute changes and the need for pets to be taken care of. Rest assured when your pup is with me you will get loaded with updates and photos every day. I would never want anyone to worry about their babies when they're away. My furbabies: Lucy is my 2-year-old beagle who I adopted in February 2024, Autmn is my 10-years-old Daschund/beagle who joined our family in May 2024, and Delia is the newest memberof the pack, less than 1-year- old beagle. I also have 1 cat, Sir Cyril Figgus is my 6-year-old stocky DSH with beautiful markings. He's my sweet boy and loves to cuddle and get pets all day. He does very well with other dogs, as he doesn't mind them after a quick sniff. They all have goofy personalities that make me love them so much. They are my world!! In addition to my family, my mother has one dog, Bischon Friese name Benny and 2 cats, Root and Harry. It's a full house but we love it and wouldn't have it any other way. It is also the reason I do not offer boarding service at the present time. I am very transparent. Please feel free to ask me any questions before we schedule a meet and greet, which I will require before any bookings. I want both you and your furbabies to be completely comfortable with me. Reviews
Valarie cared for our furry children while we were away at a funeral. To remove one thing from our worry list, Valarie sent daily photos. In these photos, we can see that our pups are being taken care of well. I highly recommend Valarie for all of your petsitting needs. She met every expectation we had for her.

Be prepared to walk me through a daily routine for your pet and household when we meet in person. ***During a booked House-sitting: you're getting more than just house and pet sitting! While I'm there I'll bring in the mail and packages, and water any plants that need it. Before leaving your home at the end of the booking I'll vacuum the floors, and take out any trash.*** **For dog walks, drop-in visits, and house-sitting: Walk me through a daily routine for your pet and household. We will cover everything in detail during our meet-n-greet. ***During booked House-sitting: you're getting more than just house and pet sitting! I take my cues from your pets and base activities on what they want. Hikes, walks, Dog parks, etc. Tell me where they like to go. I DO have access to Fort Moore for your pet-sitting needs.

Availability
My current personal schedule: I work full-time Monday-Friday (excluding Federal Holidays) 730-5pm. Weekends are generally free. I feel this information is important for you to know to identify if my schedule will work for your pet's needs. For Daycare, I give 2 options, which no other sitter offers. Typically offered on weekends and on federal holidays. So, you can go adventure with the family. Option 1: Daycare in my own home ***VACCINATED PETS ONLY*** - Rabies, Bordetella, DAPP, and Lepto are REQUIRED. Please be able to show proof of vaccine history. This is for the safety of my own pets. - 16 weeks is the youngest I am willing to take for puppies as that is when they are fully vaccinated. - All dogs must also be on treatment for fleas & ticks. - Any females in heat must wear a diaper. - In my home, you will have two sitters, for the price of one, available to watch over the furbabies. Option 2: Daycare in your own home (weekends only) - Added $10 to the daycare rate which I will adjust for you before booking. - The only vaccination required is Rabies. This is for my own safety. - Similar to house-sitting without having me stay overnight. We will set the hours accordingly but it is typically a 6-8 hour booking. - Pro: No pick-up or drop-off needed. Your pet is already safely at home. Just come home, relax, and enjoy their love.
