Pet care experience
I've lived with dogs my whole life, growing up with a chocolate lab, labradoodle, and now we just have a Staffordshire terrier. Therefore, taking dogs on walks, playing with them at our local park, and dog sitting have been a huge part of the daily routine for years. In our gated community, I started walking and dog sitting for neighbors since elementary school! Now that we only have our Staffordshire terrier, my family and I began fostering dogs, including two Rottweiler puppies and an American Bully that have found new loving homes. Helping you with your dogs also helps me because it brings me so much joy!

Valerie and her family are absolutely wonderful! They made sure that Bronny felt comfortable and loved during our time away. Valerie kept us updated regularly and sent us pictures of Bronny daily. She took the time to understand his routines and any special needs he had, including giving Bronny’s allergy drops. Valerie and Luna went beyond just basic care and treated him as if he were their own. When we returned, Bronny was happy, content, and well taken care of. Highly recommended! Valerie looked after my dog Uno for two days. She was always on time, very dependable, responsive, and respectful. My dog loved hanging out with her. Will definitely reach out again for my house sitting needs.
Our dog Bamsi seemed to have a great time with Valerie. He came home well exercised and tired, which we liked. Valerie was easy to communicate with, she responded quickly, she sent us lots of updates and pics/videos.

I have a spacious home and live with 3 other family members and our super sweet 6-year-old Staffordshire terrier Luna. Luna is super friendly with other dogs and had a great experience with other dogs we have boarded. Your dog is welcome to jump on furniture and sleep in bed! We have an unfenced yard but have very long leashes outside. We live super close to our unfenced dog park which is never crowded, and we live in a safe, gated community. I also like letting dogs run around in the neighborhood tennis courts since it is fenced. For sitting in a client's home, I follow the given instructions and would be able to stay for extended periods of time.

If boarding, I would like to know if your pet is comfortable around other dogs because we have a super sweet Staffordshire terrier. However, it would not be difficult to keep them mostly separate if your pet needs the space.
A typical day
I love to stimulate the pets I watch mentally and physically. We have a couple puzzle toys, and I love practicing any tricks they know! We can explore the neighborhood park and sniff around. I am pretty active so we can have multiple walks or even jogs around the neighborhood! Your pet is welcome to snuggle with me on the couch and on my bed.

Availability
I'm currently at home full time, so I have plenty of time to care for your pet and shower them with attention and love. I am available almost 24/7 besides when I walk dogs Fridays 3-5pm, 11:40-1pm M-F, and a few other occasional walks, but timing is somewhat flexible.
