Pet care experience
I am a recent college graduate working as a freelance artist in the greater NYC area. What better way to make extra cash than by getting in some therapeutic dog time? I grew up fostering sick dogs and cats, nursing them back to health, and socializing them for the purpose of adoption. I also volunteered at no kill animal shelters while in high school. Always a fanatic of animals, I have an innate way with dogs that has been fostered in me from a young age. I am not at a place in my life financially where I can give a pet the life it deserves. That's why I want to work with dogs and be around them as much as possible. I would love to meet your pup and help in any way you need!

Valerie has been my roommate and friend for over 3 years and she is one of the most caring, dog loving people I know. She grew up in a household that fostered many different types of animals. The Braaten family household will have anything from 2-12 cats and their dog penny living together in harmony, and that has turned Valerie into a special kind of animal caretaker. From fostering a multitude of kittens at her parents home, to finding Valerie petting puppies for adoption at a local pop-up shopping market in Venice, to receiving snapchats of Valerie holding and petting a snake, there is no doubt that I would trust Valerie to care for my pup.
