I met Valerie when she came into train with me at a local animal rescue. She has a very calming presence, which is exactly what is needed when working with shelter dogs. She was very patient with each dog, giving them time and space, so they were comfortable being handled. Valerie was observant and respectful of the individual needs of each dog. When interacting with the dogs in the play yards she provided a wonderful energy. And for those that wanted to cuddle, she provided a gentle, caring embrace. I would trust Valerie not only with the dogs at the shelter, but my own dogs, as well. Valerie has a true passion for dog care!
