Pet care experience
I have been taking care of many of my friend's pets for a long time, particularly during holidays, long weekends, or vacations. They say that their pets love me so I decided to give it a try and offer my help to more people. I had dogs in the past and I can take them for walks, play with them, and make sure they have everything they need. I have more experience taking care of cats, I have one on my own, Star, who I love very much. I used to foster cats at my own place for a shelter in Evanston until I fostered Star and I decided to adopt my old lady. I can recognize when cats are unhappy or stressed, I like to play with them, clean litter, give medication, and make sure they are doing fine while their families are not around. Valen has helped take care of our cat Jordy for years. She is very reliable and Jordy loves her. Jordy has been through health problems and Valen has been great, giving him multiple medications at a time when we’ve been gone. I highly recommend her, Valen will take care of your pet like they are her own!
For Valentina, pets equal family. She is an amazingly loving pet owner and has given home to many lucky cats and dogs throughout her life. She’s very empathic and responsible, and will always make pets under her care a priority!
Valen has taken care of my two cats, Sophie and Romeo, more times than I can remember. She's always been diligent in checking on them, keeping me posted on her visits, informing me if anything seems awry, and I can always trust that my beloved furry friends are safe when I'm out of town when she's checking up on them. There's no one in my life I trust more than Valen to make sure my cats are ok when my fiancé and I are out of town.

Having a cat of my own currently, and as a past owner of two dogs, I understand the difficulty in trusting some stranger to take care of your pets. This is one of the reasons why my close friends trust me with their pets. I genuinely enjoy cats' and dogs' company, I think the pets we rescued actually rescued us. I also don't like when I have to leave my cat alone for a short time and that is why I do my best to make sure that someone else's pet is receiving the love and attention they deserve.

I have a car and I can move anywhere. I am a scientist, I do research in a lab and I can accommodate my schedule based on your needs. I am an immigrant from Uruguay, I speak Spanish (but I am fluent in English), and usually I stay around during Thanksgiving or the Holidays.
