Patience is key
Pet care experience
Valentina and Adam were proud parents to a beautiful senior Belgian Malinois, Lucy, who is unfortunately no longer with us as of Aug 2022. Valentina spent most of her entire life caring for both children and animals. Adam has also spent over 20 years caring for his own family dogs who were all large and active dogs. Our experiences have taught us patience amongst many other things. We carry that patience along with every new fur baby we meet! Today, we now have a new rescue: Amara. Amara is a 2 year old goofy chocolate lab. She loves tennis balls and running around. It's been a few years since we've helped out through Rover, but we're ready to open our home to help socialize Amara and give all the dog moms and dads reassurance while they're away. Valentina may only provide walks and drop-ins while we complete our fencing in the backyard.
Reviews
Valentina came through last minute for a next day meet and greet in the morning and walk in the afternoon! She saved the day so I could spend the entire day at the beach for my Mom’s birthday. Thanks again!!!!
I can't say enough good things! :) Valentina is sweet, reliable, trustworthy, patient - she kept in great contact with us with periodic updates and photos. We have one pup that is just a touch weird - a rescue with weird anxieties, and kind of her own way of doing things, and Valentina is wonderful at understanding her specific behaviors and giving her space. I know she did a great job because that same weird dog slept on Valentina's pillow all night (while her "more normal" pup siblings snuggled under the covers)! We've had a lot of issues with past sitters and Valentina feels like we won the lottery. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves, knowing our babies were in great hands!
Valentina was very sweet and attentive with my fur babies! They were well taken care of when I returned home.

For the inside, pet owners can be rest assured that all flooring, couches, and blankets will be sanitized before your fur baby comes and stays. We will take care of feeding and after dinner walks if you've allowed it and your pup is home with us. By the time we have opened our services to visits in our home, we will have a fenced in a backyard (currently in progress) and one friendly dog in the home. Our yards are treated with pet friendly spray to deter unwanted critters like fleas. Please bring a bed, crate, or mat for any pets that may require personal space.
Information Valentina G. would like to know about your pet
The only thing we need to know is if there are any triggers or anything that bothers the dog(s). Please inform us if your fur baby has any health issues. Please ensure that your fur baby does not have fleas! We have a clean home and we want to be able to continue to welcome animals in. We've watched as small as chihuahuas and up to 80+ lbs. Lazy or energetic, we will mold sitting/watching methods to suit the animal.
A typical day
There is no "typical" day as each fur baby needs something different. For active dogs, we have Amara to get out their energy and a backyard to run around in. Outside of our home, we can go for a nice run or a heavy play session. We love cuddles, and pups are welcome on our couches as long as the parents agree it is okay.

Availability
We will be currently opening our homes to dogs on select weekends. We own a house in Clearwater with a nice backyard for running and fetch! During the week, Valentina works from home half the time which will be the only time the availability will open Mon-Fri. Our routine will be adjusted based on what the pup may require. Typically we like to throw the ball, go on walks and runs in the neighborhood, and practice our training. Just let us know your situation and we'll let you know if we can or cannot accommodate.
