Hi my name is Valentina and i am the girl at the party that ends up playing with the dog rather than the people. I am a firm believer in treating dogs with the love, respect and care any creature deserves. Every dog has its own personality and I cater my services to best fit the routines and needs of each dog. Patience and joy are two things I consider deeply important as I look after your furry best friend! I love to run around at the park and play, or sit reading a book while cuddling a furry friend. I consider it a priority for dogs to feel safe and loved and I can’t wait to meet your furry bestie!

Totally not Valentina’s fault that Daisy didn’t want to go outside beyond the courtyard of our apartment building, but I was disappointed that Valentina decided to end the walk after only 15 minutes, rather than just walk around the courtyard where Daisy was more comfortable. I also could not even submit a ticket to ask Rover to refund the value - the app just said “verifying” for ten minutes and never went through.
Valentina is caring, thoughtful and dedicated to not only the dogs she looks after, but to the owners who are leaving their best friend with her. I had a bohemian pot cake mutt who was a rescue with a terrible fear of thunderstorms. I was so worried about Pipa, my dog, and if she was going to freak out during a rainy night when she was staying with Valentina. Before I could even reach out to her Valentina had already sent me a photo of her and Pipa all snugged up in Valentina’s bed ready to sleep through the night. It’s that kind of love and care that any dog gets, when being with Valentina.

I always make sure to bond with a pet once I arrive at the home, never forcing the dog to do anything but rather engaging with their preferred form of motivation whether that is food, toys or enthusiasm.

A typical day
A typical day with a pet would include some enthusiam when I arrive, creating trust and safety, then a long walk and some time spent throwing a ball or any type of toy around. I always keep my bag stocked with treats. Central park no leash before 9am is my favorite place to go.
