My pet care experience started with caring for Kylo and Milo. Kylo is a 125lb Golden Retriever with an energetic, sweet, yet fearful personality. Milo is a 30lb rescue mutt with a territorial, anxious, yet loving personality. The stark difference in their size and personality gave me confidence to provide service to dogs of all sizes and temperaments here in Rover! Fast forward to months providing full-time services here on Rover, I have become well experienced with the process of getting to know a pet’s personality and earning their trust. And if you have a cat(s) in need of attention and play, I am here too. I have come to especially love cats because they can really put “trust” to work. When caring for your pet and home, you can rely on me to communicate and leave your place equally or better than how you’ve left it. I strive to provide professional pet and home services.

Val was truly incredible! Our pup Dobby fell in love with her and she did an amazing job taking care of him while we were out of town! She even left our home cleaner than when we left! We definitely will be using Val again!

My pact with you is that I will treat and care for your beloved pet(s) as you would as long as you do your best to be as considerate to my safety as a service-provider as well. I will observe how you interact with your pet(s) and ask the questions I need to properly care for them. I want this to be a win-win situation for both of us!

A typical day
Fun activities? I will take any suggestions you have. I live an active lifestyle and just want to share good, positive energy with your pet. I also understand that it can take some pets time to trust a stranger, so I will meet your pet where they are at. Outside activities outside can be neighborhood and local parks walks/jogs/runs. At home activities, can be anywhere in the house or backyard. We can play games suited to your pet's personality and energy like hide-treats-and-seek or the classic fetch. Belly rubs and snuggles (if you do not have a problem with them) are a guarantee. Lastly, I have a gentle and firm demeanor towards pet-care so you can trust me to reinforce positive / helpful behaviors you have been training your pet on.

My schedule varies from week-to-week for the next couple of months. If you are interested in my services, just feel free to send me a message and we can speak more. For the most part, I am based in North Carolina so I am most available to clients in this state. When I am traveling, I often offer my services at wherever location I find myself staying in so I am open to out-of-NC clients from time to time.
