Pet care experience
I've wanted dogs since I was a small child but my parents never said yes, so growing up I watched tons of friends' dogs (walking, babysitting, etc). When I turned 22 I adopted my own two rescue huskies. I run them every day and do a lot of training with each dog every week. Establishing a mutual respect and loving bond with every dog is the most important thing for me – it leads to happier owner and happier dog. I've trained some dogs over the past couple years in my free time.

Phoebe our labradoodle, had never been walked by a man. Vaibhav worked very hard to calm her down, even giving her treats. But she refused to walk with him.
Great experience, we recently got a new puppy that needs extra attention. We are so happy to find Vaibhav, to walk our mini goldendoodle, definitely will use him again

Vaibhav went above and beyond for Duncan, my sweet pup. I left town and was a bit nervous for what kind of treatment Duncan was going to get, but from the second I met Vaibhav and watched how he interacted with my dog, I knew I had an amazing sitter. Some of the extra things he did include: brushing and grooming Duncan, food and resource training, longer walks than he needed to, and so many photos! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the wonderful care that you provided. You have a passion for animals, and I cannot wait to book you again — Duncan loved his time with you!

I try to form a personal bond with each dog I meet and truly understand their boundaries, the level of interaction they are comfortable with, and what makes them the happiest. I also make sure to ask you any questions I need to, to make sure I'm fully equipped to take care of your baby. I communicate with you often while taking care of your dog(s).

- Behavior around other dogs, any type of reactivity (and the relevant triggers), level of socialization the dog is comfortable with (for example are dog parks okay?) - Will he/she be okay with my two friendly huskies? - Boundaries the dog has (doesn't like to cuddle, is head shy, etc) - How often he/she needs to use the restroom - How he/she is on leash - Feeding routine/allergies (for babysitting) - Anything else important about your dog!
A typical day
Depending on the service booked and the activity level of the dog, I can make a plan to make your dog's time with me as fun as possible. I'm a runner and very active so can provide high-energy dogs with their needed activity, but can also make a calm environment for a more docile dog. If your dog is friendly he/she will always have my two friendly huskies Shona and Mia to hang out with! EXAMPLES: - If he/she a high energy dog and you've booked me for a walk, I might do a walk/run combo combined with some random training in between and lots of sniffing breaks, so your dog gets all sorts of stimulation! If he/she is a dog that LOVES running, I could even take it out on the bike and bike at whatever speed it wants to run at! - If you have an older relaxed dog and have booked me for a house sitting, I would make sure the home environment is as chill and relaxed as possible (some light training with yummy treats, lots of cuddling and napping), and then the walks could be super relaxed with lots of sniff time!

I work as a software engineer from home, so my location and routine are very flexible. I can walk/take care of pets most times/days and can find multiple opportunities in the day for walks/play time/stimulation/training.
