I would love to board 1 or 2 of your sweet, SMALL to MEDIUM-SIZED fur babies (preferably from the same family). I have my sister’s toy poodle with me so much of the time that I’ve decided to change my profile to say that I do have a dog of my own. Anna has gotten along very well with all the dogs I’ve watched so far. But she doesn’t like to play much, so she mostly stays on her bed in an out of the way spot. I took a break from Rover for a few months while I provided foster care for my grandson’s 3 pets, but since they went home, my house has seemed empty! I like to keep the animals entertained playing some nerf frisbee, or fetch indoors or out in back yard, or taking leisurely walks at pretty park or walkway nearby. I enjoy doing a little bit of training; if you supply plenty of training treats. Dogs are not normally allowed on my fabric furniture, unless they don’t shed, but I do have an old recliner that is OK. If your dog is a shedder, I’d appreciate you bringing their brush. When I am dog sitting, I try to have the dog sleep overnight in the same sort of circumstances that they are used to at your house. If they don’t sleep in a crate, I may have them sleep in the laundry room, just until I get to know them and trust them. I don’t allow dogs on my bed, but they can sleep on the floor next to my bed, if they prefer that and are quiet.
