Welcome to the Furry Place. We love dogs, have a large house with a big backyard and a pool to play in. Daily walks, play time and of course, lots of snuggles. We have a Golden Retriever/Lab mix and a PomChi (Pomeranian/Chihuahua), they are very friendly and love to play with other dogs. The pups sleep inside at night. Crate, doggie bed or couch, the same way they sleep at your home. My schedule is very flexible. Small and large dogs are welcome. Currently, there are no feline residents at the house. Short and long term hosting is available, your pup's stay can be totally customized towards your needs. I can also stop by your home if you need somebody to stop by and check on multiple animals. Why I love dog sitting I grew up with dogs & cats and all kinds of critters, furry and non-furry. I have a soft spot for dogs and somehow they seem to know. We have two dogs, very friendly and used to having doggie friends over. One of our previous dogs was deaf in her senior years and Maggie Mae, our current "Oldtimer" is blind. So we are used to have special needs pups around and make them feel comfortable. About my yard fenced in large backyard, your dog is welcome to swim in our pool. Dogs will always be supervised when in the pool. My experience administering medication Yes, I am used to administering medication and can also give intravenous medication

Uta was great again. Elsa came home pooped out after a fun filled weekend. We feel confident in leaving our fur baby with Uta!
We had a previous Dogsitter cancel on us 24 hours before showing up to Dogsit. Uta responded to me very quickly! She watched our Cali girl even when it was last minute and our flight got delayed and she boarded her for the duration until we got back! Cali had THE BEST TIME!! Our free spirited girl got to run and swim with other pups!! I couldn’t be more pleased with Uta!
What a wonderful experience for our Bodhi! Uta is so kind and wonderful with her boarders and Bodhi came home happy, that is the best feeling after coming back from a trip. She sent pictures and gave us updates which was so nice. Bodhi made friends and got to hang out by the pool, it’s like he was on vacation as well! We will absolutely be using Uta again and I highly recommend her.
Lily had a fantastic stay here. Uta was great at sending pictures and videos of her each day and communicating silly stories of her adventures. Would definitely recommend !!!

Our yard is fenced, dogs are supervised in the pool. Dog beds are available throughout the house. Pups are welcome on the bed and the couch. Crating is available, but unless requested, the pups can sleep wherever they want. I feed the dogs twice a day, some separate if needed and I will stay with them while they eat. Plenty of treats and toys are available. We play ball, swim in the pool, goof around and snuggle. I try to provide lots of exercise, a tired pup is a happy and well behaved pup. Even so older dogs might not engage much in playtime, they are content to just hang out with the team and enjoy some sunshine outside.

Any breed is welcome to stay with us. We do get a good amount of Labs and Golden Retrievers, but also have plenty of small dogs around. Any info about the personality and likes/dislikes of your pup will be appreciated. Also, medical info about allergies and any medications they take. My smallest guest was a Mini Yorkie, the biggest one a 185 pound Mastiff. I also request a copy of their current vaccines (which I can obtain from your vet if needed).
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We have a large open space right behind our house, which is an unofficial dog park. Traffic is very light were I live, so I walk the dogs in the neighborhood. We also have a nice big park about 3 minutes away. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Wherever he or she wants to sleep. My dogs have their beds in our bedroom, so my guess is, they will all hang out there and sleep together. I can also crate your dog overnight if requested. Time I'll spend with your dog I can work from home, so your dog will be with me almost 24/7

Availability
I work part-time from home and my schedule is totally flexible. Ideal for taking care of pups. They love to nap in the office while I work and help me outside with yard work, more or less.
