Pet care experience
I’ve been a pet owner and lover my whole life! Though I am new to Rover, I have dog-sat and fostered for numerous years. I have lots of experience with puppies and senior dogs so am ready to handle whatever special needs your furry friend has! Jason is well-read on dog training and is a caring and patient dog lover. We are both former federal government employees, and pride ourselves on our commitment to honesty and integrity. We can’t wait to open our home to your furry friend! Hablo español! Ursula and Jason were wonderful. Took fantastic care of my dog and sent plenty of updates. This was his first stay away, so he was a little extra stressed, but they handled everything wonderfully. 100 would recommend.
Ursula was the best! Our first time leaving our pet and she made is seamless from introduction through the pick-up. Lots of communication and pictures put us at ease and it was clear our Louie was happy in Ursula’s home. Definitely a keeper!
Great sitter! Little boy was properly tuckered out when O fetched him - and very happy! Lots of pics and a couple of videos.
Ursula and Jason were phenomenal to my dog! Took extra good care of her and played a ton with her and accommodated all of her playful needs! Best experience I’ve had on Rover!

Pets that stay with us will be able to roam the house like a member of the family. Your pet will always be supervised while playing in our fenced in backyard. For medium to large dogs, we have a Fi collar with GPS tracking that we can put on your dog in case we get an escape artist on our hands! Luckily, that has never happened but we like to have a back-up plan in place for worst-case-scenario situations. We keep one on our dog, too! If your pet is spending the night, we have the option of them either sleeping in a crate (we have one or you can provide your own) or I’m happy to sleep in the guest bedroom with them if they are a cuddler! We only host one family’s pets at a time and keep our dog separate - as knowledgeable animal enthusiasts, we know that pets are ultimately unpredictable so, for the safety of your pet and ours, we’d rather be safe than sorry!

Please let us know if your dog has any special needs (medications, routines, etc.). I am experienced with high-maintenance dogs and am happy to comply with any instructions given ahead of time. Please also let us know if your dog is house-trained, crate-trained, or has a tendency to chew things up - we can make just about anything work as long as we know how to prepare ahead of time! Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
A typical day
While we have a large backyard where we constantly are playing fetch and running around with the pups, we also love to go on long walks and hikes! We often go to the foothills of the Sandia mountains, to the riverwalk, and just around our residential neighborhood.

As a law student, I have a flexible schedule and prefer to study at home to maximize time with pets. Jason’s job is hybrid so there’s almost always someone home to love on your pup!
