Dog care in the Peak District
Pet care experience
I am a dog owner and I love my two dogs dearly and understand how important it is to find a person who you can trust to care for your pooch in the same way that you do. I am based in the heart Peak District and available for boarding and day care (at my home). I have a dog friendly van so I can take them out and about and deliver them back to you after a lovely stay. I won’t walk my dogs at the same time as yours unless you specify that you’d prefer that.
Reviews
This is our second time away, leaving Luca with Ursula (who lives in a beautiful part of the peak district). Luca, our puppy settles in really quickly with Ursula. He runs straight to her for cuddles. He settles back straightaway at home too. Very happy with his stays there.
Ursula provided a lovely home from home in a beautiful country village for our cockerpoo puppy. She is very welcoming, knowledgeable and we had regular updates about our very happy puppy. He was very settled and happy when we picked him up. Highly recommended.
Kos loved staying with Ursula for a couple of days and it was very thoughtful of Ursula to share photos of Kos whilst we were away (she even took him to the Pub!). Thank you, Kos looks forward to his next sleep over.
Ursula is one of the biggest dog lovers I have had the pleasure to know. She can provide a loving spacious home in the countryside with long walks and lots of space. Her home and garden adapted for safety and fun. Ursula is knowledgeable in all aspects of pet first aid and has a connection with a local vet. Ursula is a trustworthy, reliable, friendly and caring person who I would always use for my dog sitting purposes as I know they will be loved during their stay.

I live in a small, rural village and this offers a safe place for your dog to stay. There’s no main roads or loud noises. Your dog will be sleeping on their own comfy bed in the kitchen (away from my dogs)and will be let out into the garden for regular loo breaks. Just let me know their routine and we can work to make it an enjoyable stay for them and a worry-free experience for the owners.

Information Ursula C. would like to know about your pet
If your dog has any needs that I need to be aware of then please share these with me so that I can make arrangements for them. I can give medication (which I like to disguise in treats) PLEASE NOTE; I can not accommodate dogs that constantly bark if they’re anxious when left alone as they will be sleeping in the kitchen, on their own at nighttime. ANY BOOKING that is not confirmed and paid for by the owner 48 hours before it’s due to take place will not be booked in. Thank You
A typical day
A usual day for a doggy in my care would start with morning loo break, followed by a walk (off lead at every opportunity if it’s safe for your pet to do so) and home for a nap and maybe a stroll to the local pub later on. I will shape the day around your dogs needs and feeding times.

Availability
I am at home so I can accommodate your pooch as part of our family. There are lots of walks that I can take them on and they can even come to the pub with us if they’re having a sleepover. I only take one dog at a time as I find this to give greater peace of mind to the owners ( I may board two dogs from the same household).
