Pet care experience
I'm a student at Tufts majoring in Biology and Community Health, and I have been walking dogs and dog sitting for the past few years. I will be interning in the Boston area this summer, and would love to help people out by taking care of their dogs. I am very flexible regarding dog care, and am also an avid runnner that can run with your dogs. I have references, am very reliable, and know the Boston area very well and am very comfortable navigating the city and its surrounding suburbs. If need be, I would be more than happy to run errands (like getting dog supplies, bringing dogs to the groomer's, etc.). Thank you for your time, and I hope I can help you out!

Ursula is very enthusiastic about dogs and it's obvious that she has a lot of love for them. She always is eager to volunteer to walk dogs, and is very responsible with that. She ensures that the dogs she walks are happy and taken care of, and she throughly enjoys spending time with them. Ursula is diligent, punctual, and thoughtful and has a lot of experience walking dogs with different temperaments. Having accompanied her on several walks, I can say firsthand that she is great at being with dogs and she demonstrates her love for them through being responsible and kind.
Ursula is an extremely responsible and conscientious person who will take fantastic care of your dog! She has over a year of experience as a dog walker with the Tufts University volunteer student group Animal Aid. She'd be a fantastic choice to watch your fluffy friend.
Ursula is a wonderful dog sitter because she truly loves spending time with dogs. Recently, Ursula and I cared for a Black Lab (Cola) together. She was so attentive to Cola's needs (taking her on walks, playing with her in the backyard, talking to her, etc) and was very excited to bond with Cola upon meeting her. I highly recommend Ursula because her interest in dog-sitting and dog-walking derives from a love of animals and an interest in their welfare.

A typical day
I am very flexible! In the past when I've walked dogs, I've followed owners' routines with neighborhood walks, but am willing to visit dog parks/ fields in the area. I can tailor activities to your dog! If your dog is highly energetic, I would be happy to go on runs with them. If they are older/ less mobile, I can accommodate walks to suit their needs. Lastly, if your dog is social, I can also visit local dog parks. My goal is to ensure that your dog is safe and has a good time.
