Pet care experience
I have two cats of my own back home: Gazpacho and Theo. They’re two wonderful cats with big personalities. They love going out for supervised walks in their little harnesses. For two years, I was a volunteer at a therapeutic riding organization. My work included grooming and tacking horses as well as aiding in lessons. I definitely have experience handling big stubborn animals. Additionally, I have experience teaching kids how to code which can be surprisingly rowdy.

Uma did a wonderful job taking care of my mother suffering from dementia while we were in Europe.She cooked for for my mom, kept the house clean , changed her diapers , took her outside for walks. She memorized immediately all the instructions regarding the house including how to change filters in the swimming pool vacuum and complicated TV system. I couldn’t imagine more professional caregiver for my mom and the house especially considering Uma’s age. I recommend Uma anybody. She is very smart, attentive , hard working .
Uma is a good friend of mine. She is a super sweet and responsible person and pet owner. She has two cats, and I have seen firsthand how attentive she is to their every need, from food and water to taking them on leashed walks outside for fresh air. When she goes for walks around the city, it isn't uncommon for Uma to store treats in her pockets in case she encounters a kitty along the way. Although she has never pet-sat for me, I would ask her to do so in a heartbeat.

I am very observant and careful when dog walking. I am always on the lookout for possible dog stressors like cars, people, or other dogs. I am very respectful of any home I am in. Our pets have mental health problems just like us and I strive to create a calming and enjoyable environment for all furry friends.

A typical day
I love going on long walks. I have discovered a lot of beautiful areas in Richmond while studying here. However, I can be couch potato just as easily. Head pats and snuggles are simply the best.

Availability
I’m currently a student and have a lot of space in my schedule to take care of pets! All my classes end at 4 pm and then I have the evenings free on all weekdays. On weekends I am free at all times.
