I grew up caring for large breeds and cats, today I am a mom to a lil chi. mix angel. Me and my spouse have experience sitting a wide range of pets for family &friends. I have utilized positive reinforcement to train and socialize our toy breed starting at 6 months of age. I am an avid dog park goer and love to praise a good patient sit.

Absolutely phenomenal dog sitting experience with Uly! From the moment we dropped off our pup Cora, we knew she was in the best hands. Uly was incredibly sweet and patient with Cora, taking the time to train her and help socialize her at not just one, but two different dog parks! We appreciated the frequent updates, photos, and videos we received, which really put our minds at ease knowing Cora was happy and comfortable. It's clear that she truly cares about the well-being of the dogs she looks after. Ulyana is very thoughtful. She's mindful of the pet's needs as she has a way of recognizing how your pet is faring and what your pet may be asking for in its own limited way. Ulyana was great with our little breed dog, patiently training him, helping him socialize with other dogs and with people.

My home is downtown in the exchange with multiple floors that can be blocked off if restricted areas are needed. We walk the neighbourhood and sniff out any interesting messages. I have a 5 y/o chi.mix that loves to zoomie around and rest as needed. He is well socialized and can manage different sizes and temperaments. He has limited tolerance for puppies and will set up a boundary when he’s had enough, the longer he spends with a dog the more comfortable they become. Within one’s home, we love to stay outside if there is a yard available or take a neighbourhood walk.

A typical day
We love to walk the neighbourhood and sniff out all the messages they find interesting. Dog park is an option, our favs are Bonnycastle (small and intimate) and Charleswood (spacious and enables dogs to do their own thing with occasional dog encounters) At home we cuddle on the couch and if there’s a will for play -tug of war/ fetch. We do treat time 1-3/day where they can demonstrate their special tricks and receive praise and a yummy snack.

Availability
I work 10:00-6:00 from home on weekdays. We take a 10min. walk around the block every ~4 hours. If weather permits, we walk to Bonnycastle Dog Park (20min.) and stay 1-2 hours and then walk back. If the weather does not, we drive and stay for a shorter period / play at home.
